Night Shift would like to welcome our first contributing Author, Fenrir_Wolf, who will be contributing regularly with artist profiles and much more. Here is a quick introduction, and be sure to follow her posts!

Grew up exposed to different music genres that range from Nü Metal to Alternative
Rock and Techno during the 90′s. Movies like ‘Dracula’, ‘Interview With The Vampire’
and ‘The Crow’ along with several of Tim Burton’s (Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice,
The Nightmare Before Christmas) sparked my interest in the underground
culture. But it wasn’t until 2001 that I first heard bands such as
Nine Inch Nails and my taste or liking for Industrial/EBM started around 2004 when
I was introduced to awesome bands such as And One, APB and Combichrist by an awesome
person. Ever since I have discovered new bands which I will share in Nightshift.

Wondering why I chose that nick? Fenrir is a giant wolf in the old Norse
mythology and is the son of Loki, the trickster God. The rest of the Norse gods feared him
because he will be part of the final battle (ragnarök) against the gods. I have a deep
respect and admiration for wolves and the Norse culture that I loved the character.
Hence I picked the name. ”
