Though their music is a pillar of goth and industrial nights, Combichrist is actually one of three side projects of Andy LaPlegua, the Norweigan founder and lead vocalist for the group Icon of Coil (which we’ll feature in another installment later this month). Combichrist expands the futurepop sound of IoC with much more aggressive, hard-hitting beats and atonal lyrics, transcending EBM into what they call TBM (Techno Body Music).
